Forever ago, two souls became one,
the best luck in life, the two found they'd won.
After the war, his body reconstructed,
he returned to his wife, his duty conducted.
He saw her halfway, the blizzard was strong,
the waves were intense, and then she was gone.
Alone with the tragic cold death in the storm,
this time of existence, a distance to roam.
Left back in the quiet, drenched in white mist,
who knew what it took, how she fought to exist.
Years distance ahead, on his own in the snow,
he rises his head, determined where to go.

seeking a feeling, to him so unknown.

I’ve got to admit that I’ve been worrying about Engie ever since we got onto the flying machine.
He is still lying hopelessly passed out in the shopping cart attached to the front of our flying ship and I silently watch him while sitting by the steering wheel, hoping for a movement, just a tiny twitch, anything - but Engie seems to have fallen into a sleep I believe he won’t wake from anytime soon.
Captain tells me I need to kiss sleeping beauty in order to wake her from the eternal slumber the evil witch condemned her to, but I don’t believe that

The ground draws closer at a disconcerting rate as I crash from heaven with Pilot, and for a split second I perceive a silver glint below me, wondering what it could be. But time is elapsing far too quickly for my mind to process a single thought, other than the sustaining terror of dying within the next few seconds.
I close my eyes, awaiting my deadly collision with the ground - then my reality shatters into a thousand pictures exploding in my mind.
It all ends as I finally come to, regaining my senses.
I am alive...?
As I awake draped over a pile of debris, a surge o

Chapter 7: Fortitude
Snippy sat on his tree stump, struggling with the zipper of his backpack on the ground, which seemed to have gotten stuck. The jittery Pilot sat next to him, curiously looking around, his head bobbing to a song the sniper couldn't hear.
“Hey Snippy-snapper... What's that?” Pilot asked his comrade, intently gazing out of the forest.
“What is what?” the sniper replied with a sigh.
“That brown and black square shaped thing over there that looks like one room of a skyscraper! Can't you see it?”
Glancing at

Chapter 6: Trust Issues
Pilot wearily trudged through the forest, every step a torment to his injured leg.
How long had they been walking? It must have been over 40 minutes, if his perception of time was correct. His head hung low, though every few moments he glanced up at the sniper scuffling sluggishly in front of him.
He will change again. Filthy, treacherous zebra. Must stay wary, Pilot thought to himself, almost waiting for his drained-looking companion to turn into a monster any moment and eat him.
Suddenly Snippy raised his arm, and with suspicion in h

With an exaggerated frown Dr. Gromov traversed the city, en route to Train Station 5 to meet with his insane commander. He dreaded the thought of what Captain had planned for him next, considering his day had already been absolutely horrible thus far; but Gromov built his hopes on the belief that his streak of bad luck would simply have to end at some point.
The poor engineer had spent the last two hours being Captain's test subject for a series of ridiculous ideas on “zee most ecological methods of transportation.” Despi

Snippy produced a small medic kit from his backpack and set it down on the ground, while Pilot carefully observed his every move.
“So glad I always take one of these with me,” the sniper commented as he opened it and took a pair of small scissors from it.
As he brought them to Pilot's leg, the man flinched back and made a futile attempt to move away from it.
“What are you doing?!” the screwball yelled and cowered in fear.
Ignoring his antics, Snippy moved closer to him, underestimated his patient's fear and almost re

The noise led Sniper to another pile of broken steel and branches, but something seemed different.
After scrutinizing the mess, all his alarm bells suddenly rang as he spotted an arm sticking out from below the steel wing. Intuitively he started to push a heavy branch off the top, then he proceeded to heave the massive steel wing, revealing a prone form underneath.
“Pilot!”
Snippy dropped the large wing near the aviator and knelt down beside him to search for injuries, fearing the worst. After coughing a few times,

I love to read stories with intense drama and books that make your soul freeze, giving the reader the chills while reading and stirring them up in a good way. I always enjoy stories about brotherliness between characters.
My biggest obsession are apocalyptic books of all sorts and I most prefer the genres Horror, Action, Suspense and Drama. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________
